TV Giveaway: Official Rules

1. Sponsor

The contest is sponsored by Backman Vidcom, 10 Ragged Lake Blvd., Unit 7, Halifax, Nova Scotia, B3S 1C2 (the “Sponsor”).

2. Contest period

The contest opens on July 9, 2026 at 9:00 AM Atlantic Time and closes on July 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM Atlantic Time (the “Contest Period”).

3. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador who have reached the age of majority in their province of residence at the time of entry. Employees of Backman Vidcom and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible.

4. How to enter

No purchase necessary. Individuals subscribed to the Backman Vidcom email newsletter as of the close of the Contest Period receive one entry. Existing Backman Vidcom contacts who received the launch email are subscribers and are entered. Any person may join by subscribing at the newsletter signup page during the Contest Period. Any subscriber may withdraw from the newsletter and the contest at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email. Limit one entry per person regardless of the number of email addresses held. Only entrants who meet the eligibility requirements in Section 3 are eligible to win.

5. Prize

One LG NANO 4K UHD AI NU86 Smart TV, 75-inch, 2026 model. The prize must be accepted as awarded, has no cash equivalent, and is not transferable. The Sponsor will arrange delivery of the prize to the winner’s address within Atlantic Canada at no cost to the winner.

6. Winner selection

Before the random draw, entries will be reviewed against the eligibility requirements in Section 3, and any entry from outside Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland and Labrador will be excluded from the draw pool. One winner will be selected by random draw from the remaining eligible entries on July 31, 2026 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner notification and conditions

The selected entrant will be notified by email within two business days of the draw and must respond within seven days. Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question. If the selected entrant does not respond, does not correctly answer the question, or is ineligible, that entry will be disqualified and another entrant will be selected.

8. Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the announcement of their first name and province of residence in Sponsor communications, including the email newsletter and social media.

9. Privacy

Personal information collected is used to administer the contest and to deliver the email newsletter, in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy. Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time.

10. General

The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest for any reason, including technical failure or circumstances beyond its control. All decisions of the Sponsor regarding the contest are final. The contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal and provincial laws.
